This is one of the first few barns left standing in the village.  \u003cbr\u003eSome artifacts that were found include an old iron lever, a giant horse shoe, and an old three pronged pitch fork. The barn floor was constructed with dirt for the animals, since then a concrete slab as been added to one side. The animals were kept on the ground floor and the hay was kept up in the loft. There are several holes in the floor or the loft so they could just throw the hay down the chute for the animals. The barn wood has much of the original construction and in places uses live logs and hand cut logs.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eCuriously, this barn is located on the same street depicted in the movie Nightmare on Elm Street. In the movie there is a place called Madstop. If you read it backwards that is the town Elm street is located for real. The writer at first wrote a play and performed it in one of the homes on Elm street that is no longer erected.
